Oaks Amusement Park has a special summertime ride session on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for kids under the age of six.  On Tuesday morning we went there for the first time with some of our friends.

It was a fun-filled morning.  We rode the train, the carousel, and a variety of other kiddie rides.

Interestingly enough, Lex’s favorite ride was a dark creepy Lewis and Clark-themed wagon ride.  It was pitch black during most of the ride, and various things would either pop out or all of a sudden be highlighted with a strobe light.  I actually found the ride somewhat disconcerting, but at the end Lex laughed and said, “More!”  So we rode it again.  I swear that boy is destined to love haunted houses!
