Lex’s friend Siena had her 2nd birthday party on Sunday at the Children’s Museum.

After we finished in the party room, all of us got free access to the rest of the play areas.

Today Lex had a doctor’s appointment.  I wouldn’t normally take him to the doctor for just a cold, but I’ve been wanting to get established with a pediatrician closer to home anyway.  And while we were there I had his ears rechecked.  Apparently the left one is clear and the right one is still questionable.  So we’re just going to monitor him and make sure he doesn’t get another fever (or God forbid, further sleep disruption).

And I have to mention this before I forget, because it’s too cute not to repeat.  Yesterday Lex and I met Loretta and her kids at a nearby park for some playtime.  When I told Lex that he was going to see Baby Christopher, his eyes lit up and he said “Baby Cookie Monster!”  (I told Loretta that her son now has a new nickname.)
