Comments are off for this postA visit from Cordells, and heading to Boise
I’m really behind on this blog, so I’m going to have to catch up gradually. I don’t have much opportunity to use my laptop anymore, because anytime I bring it out in front of Lex he grabs it from me and takes over. So I’m sneaking in some computer time during his nap today.
My aunt Ruth and cousin Ethan came to Portland the weekend before Thanksgiving, and they stayed at our house for a few days while visiting Robby at Reed College. It was great catching up with them again.

Probably the only time Ethan has held a sippy cup:

Then on Wednesday our family headed to Boise to spend Thanksgiving with Tim’s relatives. We knew that going on a seven hour car ride with a two year old wasn’t going to be easy, so our game plan was to stop halfway in order to tire out Lex at a park in Pendleton. And it worked! He ran and ran, and even found a pile of snow to play in. Afterwards he collapsed in his car seat and slept for at least an hour.

Boise pictures will follow…
