More Gymboree/other pics
Lex is really into books again. He’ll bring us the same ones over and OVER again so we can read them to him. And he’s soaking up words like a sponge. He may not say them out loud, but he definitely knows and understands what we’re talking about. I’m constantly amazed when I ask him to point to a certain object on a page…he gets it right almost every time!

Random photos from Sunday’s Gymboree class:
(Lex’s shirt says “I do all my own stunts.” That’s certainly the truth!)

We did get a chance to visit Aunt Winnie again on Sunday evening, I just don’t have a picture this time. But it was very cute…Lex called her “Ah Wee Wee.”

Tim got off work a little early on Friday to meet Lex and me at Out of this World (the indoor play park). This time the place was a little busier and Lex was more nervous. He didn’t want to go on any of the big bouncy play structures:

But he did seem to enjoy this play house:

And he went down the slide:

And he drove a car briefly:

He also had a quick climbing lesson from dad:

Mmmm…we finished the night with pizza.

Play group outing
The other day Lex and I joined a few members of our play group for an outing at the zoo. This time we visited the farm exhibit, where kids can pet the goats. Lex was very gentle with them…I was impressed!

Sienna and Lex:

Jack, Sienna and Lex:

These past two days have been a bit rough. Lex has been really clingy and wants to be held all of the time. My back is getting sore from carrying the heavy guy around! I’m not sure if he’s sick or teething or what, but hopefully this is a short-lived phase.
Comments are off for this postLex’s afternoon
Lex is now officially only taking one nap a day, and that can make for some LONG afternoons. Today he was bored, laying on the carpet like a limp noodle:

So we went outside for a while.

When it got too hot, we decided to “paint” the garage with water:

After Lex was bored with painting, he climbed and jumped off a pillow mound:

Following that was a rollicking game of peekaboo with the curtain:

And finally we took a picture of ourselves:

Car wash

Yesterday Tim and his trusty sidekick decided to wash the Golf.

Lex mainly supervised his daddy’s work:
