Today we joined Loretta’s family for a day trip to Cannon Beach.

Although it was a sunny 90-degree day in Portland, it was cold and foggy at the beach (surprise surprise).  Here’s Loretta all bundled up:

Lex wasn’t a big fan of the sand.  He preferred to be carried:

We had great halibut, fries and clam chowder for lunch at a local restaurant.  Here’s Lex waiting for the food to arrive:

We had fun while we were at the beach, but we were actually very happy to get back to the warm Portland weather this afternoon.
