Leaving Lionsgate

A few days ago Tim and I gave notice to Lionsgate that we’d be breaking our lease and leaving at the end of February (because of our new house purchase).  Boy did that open up a can of worms!  We found out that our original leasing agent had done quite a number on us when we signed up for our townhouse.  Not only had he promised us that it would only cost us one month’s rent as penalty for breaking our lease, he also somehow managed to get our signatures on paperwork for a full year rental instead of the six month term that we requested.  Instead of paying $1400 to get out of here, we now have to pay about $4300.  So needless to say we were surprised/horrified/furious to discover this the other day.  Our only vindication in all of this mess is that our particular leasing agent “no longer works for Lionsgate,” according to the manager.

Anyways, on a happier note, here’s our smiley boy posing topless for you.

In this last picture Lex is wearing his new onesie (courtesy of cousins Becky and Dayn).  It says “I TCP/IP but mostly IP.”  TCP/IP is a set of communication protocols used for the internet. (Yes, I had to ask Tim.  I’m not geeky enough to understand my son’s shirt.  But I get the “IP” part at the end.)
