Ok - seriously, we have the happiest baby on the planet.  I mean look at this guy:

Today we tried out some shoes on Lex.  They’re more like slippers but they have some sort of suede bottom for walking.  First he just stared at them:

Then he did some high stepping:

And then he was very pleased with himself when he took them off:
