Today Lex had a raging fever all day.  The poor guy had the rosiest cheeks and he kept moaning.  We gave him Motrin, which seemed to help him feel a little better.  We were baffled as to where this mysterious and sudden illness came from, but then we remembered that the nurse at the pediatrician’s office warned us that he might get a fever a week after getting the MMR vaccine.  So there you go…mystery solved.  It’s been one week exactly since Lex got his shots.  Hopefully tomorrow the fever will be gone.
