All of our visiting family members have gone home, and our quest to find a house continues.  We’ve gone out several times lately with our realtor, but haven’t found one yet.  Lex has been a good sport out on these trips.  He loves to flirt with Karen (our realtor).  He’s also doing pretty well with eating solids these days.  He’s still not that enthusiastic about spoon-fed items, but we do have some success if we offer them early while he’s hungry.      

On Sunday morning we all had breakfast together before my parents headed off to Salem to visit Aunt Winnie.

We spent quite a while yesterday looking for houses with our realtor, but we haven’t found anything yet.

My parents got into town on Friday, and they’ve enjoyed catching up with their grandson.  Unfortunately Lex has been plagued by a persistent cough for the past few days, but he’s definitely getting better now.  We did take him to the pediatrician yesterday but she said his ears and lungs are clear and to just let the sickness run its course.  Doctors are very hesitant to prescribe antibiotics these days, and I appreciate that.

Meanwhile, we’ve had an offer on our house, which is exciting and yet scary.  Today we’re going to go look at some potential houses with our realtor.  We’ll keep you posted if we find something.  Otherwise look for us on some street corner…we’ll be the ones with the cute baby =)

Have patience…more pictures are coming.  I promise!  Things are a little hectic right now.  Both sets of grandparents are in town, Lex was up all night coughing, and we got an offer on our house.  For now, just enjoy Lex and Obama from the previous post =)
