Yes, these pictures were taken at a hospital.  Last night Lex gave us quite a scare and we ended up going to the emergency room at 1:30 in the morning.  He’s had a cough for about a week and a half now, but last night his cough took a huge turn for the worse and he began wheezing and struggling to breathe.  Anyways, to make a long story short, Lex was diagnosed with acute croup, and he was given an oral steroid to help with inflammation of the esophagus.  But by the time we arrived at the hospital Lex was already feeling better.  The doctor told us that being in the moist cool night air helped him.  In true Lex fashion, he flirted with all of the nurses and tried to steal the doctor’s stethoscope while at the hospital.

Today Tim and I are completely exhausted and Lex is a bit clingy.  We’re just going to take it easy and hope for a fast recovery.
