Today I took it upon myself to introduce my son to Rocky.  Since the real Sylvester Stallone couldn’t be present in our basement, we had to make do with the talking Rocky figurine.

Things were going really well and Lex was showing a genuine interest.

But when Lex tried to eat Rocky, I decided that it was time to end the meet and greet session.

In other news, today was Lex’s nine-month doctor visit.  He is now 17.5 lbs and 27″ long.  Luckily he didn’t need any vaccines this round.  His doctor said he’s doing great.  She also said that he should be able to last ten hours at night without a nursing session (but his mom is a softie and will probably continue to get up with him at midnight).
