This is Tim again. There are lots of new apps around that allow one to work remotely. This post is being written via my iPhone and includes some pictures taken with the camera in the phone. One more thing to drive me farther into geekdom.

Today we visited Aunt Winnie in Salem.  She’s currently staying in the health care wing of Capital Manor because she’s still not strong enough to live on her own.

A little Lex therapy

We sent Aunt Winnie these flowers a few days ago, and Lex really wanted to touch them.

We do anything we can to entertain the baby while eating at the manor. Here's he's drinking from my water glass.

Philosophical picture of the day: Life goes full circle. From wheels to wheels...

Yesterday we met our friends Kevin and Debby downtown and walked through a sandcastle exhibit in Pioneer Courthouse Square.  Lex missed his afternoon nap but he had fun.

Big breakthrough!  Today was the first day that Lex didn’t completely reject my attempt at feeding him something other than breastmilk.  I gave him some pureed bananas this morning, and instead of giving me the pursed-lip turnaway, he actually swallowed some!

Lex is now able to sit on his own for brief periods of time.
