Catching up
Yesterday Lex had a play date with Keira, a baby from my mom’s group. We went to a park and played in the fountain for a while. He is really “on a roll” now (pun intended) and we are starting to find him in different positions after we leave him. This morning he was facing one end of his crib when I put him down for a nap, and then he was completely opposite (head to toe) when he was picked back up.
Today we were invited to go on a hike with Loretta and her family. We walked around the arboretum by the zoo.
Then this afternoon workers from Bud’s Expert Tree Service came to our house and trimmed our giant tree out front. It looks much better now and the limbs are no longer dragging on our roof.
Lex really enjoyed watching the chaos out front.

Here are some more iPhone pictures.
Below is a picture I took of Lex at a coffee shop downtown. He enjoyed seeing all the people moving around and he fit nicely into the indented cushions of the chair.

Packing and playing
This morning the boys were playing, and Tim started blowing in Lex’s face. Lex found it extremely funny.
Our house is in total turmoil right now as we try to weed out what goes into the storage pod. We’re trying to have the pod full and picked up by Monday, and then on Tuesday afternoon someone from Realty Imaging is going to come take professional pictures of our house (for our new flyer). On Thursday our big tree out front is going to be trimmed by an arborist, and then we’re going to have another open house on Sunday (and a broker tour the following Tuesday). Whew! So if our blog gets a little neglected over the next few days, you’ll understand why.

Lex has now successfully rolled from back to front, and front to back. And he’s happy about it.
Ok, who could resist that face?
Look at those chubby legs. He’s definitely getting taller! And he is finally getting some use out of his exersaucer.
We’ve finally found Tim an office. He’ll be working in a storage pod out in front of our house. Just kidding! We’re loading this pod with some furniture and knick-knacks in order to “de-clutter” our home. Between clearing out some stuff and lowering our asking price again, we’re hoping to hurry along the sale of our house.
