Museum outing
Here’s Lex and me on our way to the Children’s Museum. We all stopped by the robot competition so Tim could catch up with a few of his buddies, and then on our way out we toured the rest of the museum (but actually it’s less of a museum and more of a fun place for kids to play). I think we blew Lex’s mind…there was so much to see. That place will be a lot of fun once he gets older. There was a water room where kids can play with hoses and pumps, a “grocery store” with fake food and shopping carts, a “construction zone” with hard hats and wood blocks, etc. Lex was asleep before we even got him fully buckled into his car seat on the way home.

We are LOVING the warm weather. Lots of outdoor time lately and the summer clothes are making their first apearance. Last night we all slept in the guest room because the upstairs becomes unbearable with temperatures over ninety, even with air conditioning.
This afternoon we’re going to go to a robot competition at the children’s museum. Some of Tim’s friends are competing with their sumo’s. Lex needs lots of sleep these days, so he’s on his third nap already and it’s only 12:30. His choice…not ours!

Today it’s about 85 degrees outside, so I decided to get some yardwork done. My little sidekick accompanied me outside and enjoyed looking up at the leaves blowing in our tree. He’s still a little congested but we are both getting over our colds (and on a side note - he’s napping like a champ these days!)
