Another meal at Capital Manor
This morning was nice because Tim didn’t have to work and we got to play with Lex together.
Then this afternoon we had lunch with Aunt Winnie in Salem.
(Lex is wearing his Oklahoma State University onesie, which should please his grandma. That’s why he has a football on his bottom.)
And yes, we do put pants on this child. But he really enjoys his feet lately so we tend to strip him down when given the opportunity.
He was totally conked out on the ride back home.

Lex, Kiwi and I hung out in the yard for a while this afternoon since the weather was so beautiful. The poor guy is drooling so much lately he’s developed a rash on his chin.
Meanwhile Tim’s been stuck at the office for the past few days. He hates not working from home since Lex is in bed before he even gets back, but luckily it’s just for a week.

Today we went out to lunch with my friend Stephanie and her baby Maggie. The kids were good and let us eat our pizza without rushing.

Last night Lex went to bed at 5:30pm (his usual time lately) and his first wake-up was at 4:30am to nurse. Then we all went back to sleep until 7. Nice! The boy must be doin’ some growing, because he sure sleeps a lot.
Today Lex came up with a new sound…it’s like a combination of a lion and a pirate. “Rarhhh…” Very funny. We haven’t even read him any books with growling animal sound effects. This is all him.

Today was pretty low-key and we relaxed for most of the day. My friend Claire (from my mom’s group) invited us to a bbq at her house. While there Lex got to try out the new jumper toy that she recently bought for her daughter Isabelle. He found it a bit overwhelming.
