Lex vocalizes certain sounds for about a week at a time. Previously he continually said “Guh,” but THIS week the favorite phrase is “Gee” (with a hard G). It’s very cute. Maybe next week we’ll change to a different letter of the alphabet. And he’s sleeping a bit better these days. The afternoon nap is still the hardest to obtain, but at night he tends to be in bed by 6:45 pm and usually wakes up once or twice to nurse before getting up at 7 am. Not bad at all!

I’m continuing to meet more friends from my Friday mom’s group. On Thursday a gal and I got together and we took our babies to the Mommy Matinee at McMenamin’s Kennedy School (we saw the movie Juno). That could definitely become a weekly tradition!

Today Lex made his first trip to Fred Meyer with me. I walked around the store with him in the Bjorn and he was fascinated by everything. All the colors and sights just blew his mind, and he was really good while I shopped.
