I found a fun SouthPark site where you can create custom characters, so…

We’re not sure if Lex is feeling better or not. He’s still pretty congested. He didn’t sleep much at all today and we had a tough time getting him to sleep tonight, but the poor guy is very tired. Last night he slept from 7:30pm to 3am!

We tried to get happy little Easter pictures to post, but poor Lex isn’t feeling too well. We think he either has his first cold, or else he’s possibly just suffering from teething symptoms (although we don’t see any teeth emerging). His nose is stuffy and he was really fussy yesterday. Despite our best attempts, he didn’t sleep at all in the afternoon and he barely nursed. Then last night when he finally did crash, he slept straight through from 8:30 pm until 6 am this morning. This sleep stretch would have been nice for us, but of course Tim and I kept waking to check on him since this was so unusual. He doesn’t have a fever, so the doctor said to just keep monitoring him. Today we’re laying low and letting him rest. He’s eating better today, so that’s a good sign.

Lex looks like he’s truly from the Northwest today…ready to hit the woods in his flannel shirt and jeans.

And just for fun, here’s an “artsy” shot that Tim took of the moon last night:

Well rested
Last night was awesome. Lex slept from 9 pm until 4:15 am! Once again we’re realistic and know that this won’t always happen. We just really enjoyed the sleep!

Lex spent this morning with his dad so I could get my hair cut. They apparently had a good time together. Then tonight we had dinner at Papa Haydn’s. Lex was really good and slept through most of it in his car seat. This was a big improvement from our last meal out, where we had to get the meal boxed up to take home right when it arrived at our table.

It’s bath time!

(And just for contrast, here’s a reminder of what he looked like for his first bath)
