Lex had a great night last night and slept from 8 pm until 4:30 am. Then he went back to sleep until 7:30. Thank you Lex!

Today Lex’s three aunts arrived from Boise to finally meet their nephew. Lex put on a good show and was quite the charmer this afternoon. Tomorrow Tim’s parents will arrive to join in the fun.

Today when we woke up it was snowing outside. We’ve posted a brief video (you’ll notice some editing done by Tim…apparently I said the wrong date when I was narrating): click here

Today Lex put on his coveralls and headed to the basement to help Tim out with his mill. (Don’t worry - no machinery was actually on! We do have safety standards…)

In other news, Lex is still recovering from his cold. He requires a lot of sleep these days, so I feel like I’m constantly putting him down for a nap. But we have a good time together during the brief times when he’s awake.

Lex seems to be feeling better today, which is great. His appetite seems to be returning (he woke up last night for a 3 am feeding again) and this morning he was bright-eyed at 6 am. He smiled and talked to us, which he hasn’t done the last few days. His nose is still stuffy, but we’re grateful that his happy personality seems to be returning.
