Laura and I tried a new approach last night. Laura went to bed upstairs around 9 pm while I stayed up and took all the feeding shifts until 3 am. Then Laura woke up around 3 am and took all of the morning shifts until 9:30.  Lex decided to give me a crazy shift where he was starving every 2 hours instead of 3 and was completely buzzed when he should have been sleeping. I ended up with an extra feeding and didn’t get to bed until after 3:30. Laura’s morning went much smoother with Lex and he was a quiet calm sleepy boy for her.  She was able to catch up on taped episodes of Survivor while holding him.  We are going to try it again tonight.  (I’m hoping for a little less chaotic shift.)

Our other babies haven’t had much coverage on the blog, so here they are. They are being such good sisters to Lex. Kiwi is very cautious around him, but she has so far been great.
