Lex continues to amaze us all with his progress. Because he is able to maintain his body temperature he was upgraded to an open bed instead of the incubator.

His feeding tube was also removed, as he has been successfully nursing and drinking the rest of his meals from a bottle. He’s starting to express more of an opinion these days. Even the nurses were calling him a firecracker.

Tomorrow is exciting because we get to bring in our car seat and make sure it will fit him.
