We were told that Lex had a good night last night. The nurse alternated feeding him with the tube and from a bottle. He was dressed in a very cute little sleeper with matching blanket.

Laura tried nursing him, but he wasn’t having any of that. He drank about half of his bottle and we had to use the feeding tube to get the rest in. The upside to the feeding tube is that we get to just hold him as the food goes in. His temperature was up this morning so we were able to hold him outside of the incubator for longer than normal.

He is more and more alert these days. His eyes are wide open and he tracks us as we do our thing around him.
